Antique Kwan Yin Statue, Monumental Woodcarving

Description: Impressive Antique Chinese Guan Yin  wood-carved statue. Standing Quan-yin or Kwan-Yin figure holds a Ruyi scepter in her left hand, while the right hand is raised in the meditation mudra. Figure is wearing a flowing robe with raised detail. The paint is original to this woodcarving which appears to be quite old. Very likely a late Qing Dynasty period piece. This monumental piece stands appx. 60" high.

Dimensions: Appx. 60" H x 22" W x 14" D, over 60lbs

Condition: Some minor wood loss on base, chips and mars to paint but all is original and no repairs noted.
